SALEM, Va. – The Royals track & field teams wrapped up their indoor season over the weekend, taking on the conference's best at the ODAC Indoor Track & Field Championships.
On the women's side, the Royals finished with three points, putting them at ninth place in the ODAC. The championship was won by Washington and Lee with 195.75 points, followed by Bridgewater with 128 points.

DISTANCE/MID-DISTANCE
5000m: Erin Loker had a massive PR for EMU, as she crossed the finish line in 19:44.74, which was an almost 33 second personal best for the first-year. Her time earned her a 12
th place finish.
DMR: The women's DMR of
Jenna Weaver,
Angel David,
Elili Asefa and
Halie Mast picked up a sixth place finish for the Royals, earning three points.
THROWS
Weight Throw: It was a PR for
Lily Gatesman, as her opening throw went a distance of 10.68 meters, besting her previous PR by .43 meters.

This wraps up the indoor season for the Royals, but they'll be right back in action in three weeks at the W&L Track & Field Carnival.
