HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Paul R. Yoder, Sr. Golf Classic is back again for 2025! Started in 1992, this event helps to raise money to support EMU Athletics and its nearly 300 student-athletes. Over the years, this event has raised tens of thousands of dollars that have meaningfully impacted the experience of our collegiate athletes. We look forward to another great event this year!
This Captain's Choice event will be held at the beautiful Spotswood Country Club in Harrisonburg, Va., on Thursday, September 18. There will be a catered lunch at noon and a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
Entry fee is $520 per team ($130 per person).
The entry fee includes:
- Round of golf with cart
- 2 mulligans, 1 powerball, and entry into all on-course contests and prizes (no cash necessary day of event)
- A commemorative gift
- Meet EMU student-athletes
- Catered lunch provided by Spotswood Country Club
- NEW THIS YEAR: Hole-In-One Opportunity sponsored by Helmuth Builders, with the chance to win a 8' X 10' Windsor Model Shed

There is an opening for a new title sponsor for this year's event, and just three higher-level sponsorships remain that include a team registration.
