HARRISONBURG, Va. – EMU Director of Cross Country, Track & Field and Triathlon
Bob Hepler recently announced the 2024 meet schedule for the women's triathlon program. Fresh off of a third-place finish nationally for Division III in 2023, the Royal triathletes will be back at it this fall with five competitions across three states.
The 2024 campaign commences on Sunday, Sept. 1 with the triathletes participating in the Cal Tri Charlottesville. The Royals will then take three weeks to train before their next contest at the Giant Acorn at Lake Anna State Park in Spotsylvania, Va., on Sunday, Sept. 22. The team will race again the following Sunday, Sept. 29, at the Robious Landing Triathlon in Chesterfield, Va.
The Royals will then transition to their postseason competitions, starting with the East Region Qualifier on Saturday, Oct. 12 in Troutman, N.C. The season then culminates at the Women's Collegiate Triathlon National Championships on Saturday, Nov. 9 in Clermont, Fla.
