HARRISONBURG, Va. – The women's triathlon team keeps racking up awards after a landmark fall 2023 campaign. EMU Women's Triathlon has been named a Scholar All-American Team by the College Triathlon Coaches Association (CTCA). To qualify for CTCA Scholar All-American, a team must have achieved at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA for the Fall 2023 semester.

Additionally, five athletes received either DIII Scholar All-American or DIII Honorable Mention recognition. Jessica Buckwalter, Vanessa Gardiner, and Jenna Weaver laid claim to DIII Scholar All-American Awards by earning at least a 3.5 GPA and finishing in the top 20 among DIII athletes at the Women's Collegiate Triathlon National Championships in November. Daisy Buller and Zoe Clymer were named DIII Scholar All-American Honorable Mention for meeting the minimum 3.5 GPA and competing at the national championship meet.
