Hepler Releases 2026 Triathlon Race Schedule

HARRISONBURG, Va. - Over the past few weeks, the EMU Athletics Communications Office has been unveiling schedules for the fall of 2026. Today, we wrap up the series by going over the fall 2026 race schedule for the women's triathlon team. Director of Cross Country, Track & Field and Triathlon Bob Hepler put together a slate of races that will have the Royals traveling to four different states and the District of Columbia.

Following a preseason tune-up in Charlottesville (Aug. 28), the Royals will begin their regulation race schedule on Sunday, Sept. 6, with the Bison Super Sprint Triathlon on the campus of Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. Two weeks later, on Sept. 20, EMU will suit up for the Robious Landing Triathlon at Robious Landing Park in Midlothian, Va. Then, Coach Hepler's squad will head to Annapolis, Md., for the Navy Collegiate Cup on Sunday, Oct. 4.

The Royals' postseason journey will begin at the NCAA East Regional Qualifier in Lake Lanier, Ga., to be held on Sat., Oct. 17. Finally, the Royals triathletes will hop on a cross country flight for the NCAA Triathlon Championships on Sunday, Nov. 8, in Tempe, Ariz.
