HARRISONBURG, Va.- Student-athletes are back on campus, which means that the 2026 fall sports season is right around the corner. Throughout the past couple of weeks, we've been taking a sneak peek at the season ahead for all of our fall sports teams. Today, we conclude the fall sports preview series with a look at women's triathlon.

The EMU triathletes acquitted themselves well in 2025, qualifying for nationals as a team for the fourth season in a row. Making the trip out to Tempe, Arizona, the Royals placed in a tie for sixth at the Division III level. Individually, senior
Zoe Clymer placed 24th to earn Honorable Mention All-American distinction.
2026 Schedule Highlights
Season Opener: Bison Super Sprint Triathlon at Gallaudet (Sunday, Sept. 6 at 8:30 a.m.)
NCAA East Regional Qualifier: Saturday, Oct. 17, 10 a.m. at Lake Lanier, Georgia
NCAA Triathlon Championships: Sunday, Nov. 8, 9:30 a.m. (Mountain Time) at Tempe, Arizona

Outlook: EMU Women's Triathlon is poised to make another return to nationals in 2026. Clymer is back for her fourth season on the team with the goal of achieving All-American status once again. Wheeler and
Emilee White are also seniors on the squad. Coach Hepler has added first-year
Anna Rondema to the roster. The Portland, Oregon, native brings plenty of triathlon experience with her to Harrisonburg this year.
