HARRISONBURG, Va. - Over the next two weeks, the EMU Athletics Communications Office will be unveiling schedules for the fall of 2026. Next, we'll look at the 2026 EMU Field Hockey schedule. 

The Royals are coming into year two with head coach Sydney Metz, and will look to build on the 2026 season. They'll start the season on the road in Pennsylvania, taking on Cedar Crest on Sept. 4 and Lancaster Bible on Sept. 5. EMU will play their home opener on Sept. 9 when they welcome in Juniata to the Turf Field. Then, it's a three-game road trip as they face Oberlin, Wilson College and Goucher on Sept. 11, 22 and 30, respectively. 

October starts with a home non-conference matchup against Meredith College on the third before kicking off ODAC play on Oct. 7 at Shenandoah. They follow that up with a pair of home games on Oct. 10 and 14 against W&L and Randolph Macon before two road games against Roanoke and Sweet Briar on Oct. 17 and 21. The Royals will swap home and away games to wrap up the regular season, hosting Lynchburg on Oct. 24, heading to Batten on Oct. 28, facing off with Bridgewater on Halloween and finishing the regular season on Nov. 7 with another game against Meredith College.
