HARRISONBURG, Va. - A year after announcing its inaugural class, the Old Dominion Athletic Conference has announce its second class to be inducted into the 2026 Hall of Fame. Three Royals will find themselves as inductees, with Sandy Brownscombe, Kristin Moyer Vasey and Laura Rosenberger getting the nod to the second class. 

Brownscombe will be the first Royals coach/administrator inducted into the Hall of Fame, as she made an indelible mark as both the EMU Women's Basketball and Field Hockey coach. She coached the WBB team from 1978-1989. During that time, she won an ODAC Championship and was named the 1985 ODAC Coach of the Year. She was 139-134 in her tenure, including picking up 77 ODAC wins. As the field hockey coach from 1978-1993, she is one of the best to ever do it in the ODAC. She led the Royals to nine ODAC Championship games, winning three ODAC Championships and getting two NCAA Tournament bids. She was a five-time ODAC Coach of the Year and finished her FH coaching career with a 163-102-12 record. 

Moyer Vasey was a dominant force on the field for EMU Field Hockey, playing from 2000-2003. During her time with the Royals, she was three-time NFHCA First Team All-American as well as a First Team Regional All-American. She was named the ODAC Player of the Year in 2002 and 2003 and was a First Team All-ODAC honoree all four years of her career. The 2000 and 2003 teams won ODAC Championships, earning NCAA Tournament bids. At the time of her graduation in 2004, she was the EMU record holder in season goals (32) and points in a game (14). She was second in career points (230) and career goals (92). 

Rosenberger was a multiple-time NCAA National Champion for EMU Track & Field, winning the indoor pole vault in 2000 and 2001 and the outdoor pole vault those same years. She was a three-time NCAA All-American in the indoor pole vaulet and a two-time All-American in the outdoor pole vault. She won three ODAC Championships in the indoor and outdoor pole vault and she still holds the ODAC record for the indoor pole vault (3.77m) and the outdoor pole vault (3.94m).
