Miller Named to All-ODAC Second Team at Shortstop

FOREST, Va. – The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) recently announced its baseball end-of-season awards and all-conference teams for the 2026 season. Aidan Miller, a senior shortstop from Staunton, Va., has been named to the All-ODAC Second Team, per a release published by the conference office on Thursday afternoon.

As a senior, Miller had the best statistical season of his standout four-year career for the Royals, starting 38 of 39 games at shortstop. Miller led the ODAC in both batting average (.427) and stolen bases (25). He also finished the campaign fifth in the ODAC in hits (61) and ninth in the ODAC in doubles (14).

Additionally, Miller also rewrote the EMU single-season record book in multiple categories. Most notably, he tied the EMU single-season record for stolen bases, a mark previously set by Joe Hall back in 2017. Miller also set EMU all-time Top 10 single-season marks for the following: runs (tied for third/42), hits (sixth), and doubles (tied for eighth).

Miller's on-field performance and leadership helped EMU to 14 wins, their highest single-season win total since 2019. The Diamond Royals also flourished at home, finishing with an 11-11 record at Royals Field, and they posted a winning record in non-conference play of 11-8.
