Men’s Track & Field Finishes Fifth at ODAC Outdoor Championships

HARRISONBURG, Va. – The EMU Track & Field team concluded their two days as the host of the ODAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday, going up against both the other teams and the weather on a rainy day in Harrisonburg. In addition to putting on a well-run championship meet of the conference, the Royals also acquitted themselves well in competition.

Koran Rucker won his second individual ODAC championship in as many days, claiming the top spot on the podium in the discus throw. Rucker was joined by Ahsan Abul-Qasim (200m, long jump, 4x400m), Nick Arnold (400mH, 4x400m), Josh Joseph (4x400m), and Da'Shawn Winters (4x400m).

Team Scores: 1) Lynchburg – 249; 2) Roanoke 137; 3) Washington & Lee - 105; 4) Bridgewater - 100 5) EMU - 57
