HARRISONBURG, Va. – After being the home team the past two days, the athletes of EMU Track & Field headed just a few miles down the road to take part in the JMU Invitational at Sentara Park. The meet featured competition from 14 schools across NCAA Division I, Division II and Division III. Bridgewater and Washington & Lee also represented the ODAC in the meet.
For the women, the throws trio of
Lily Gatesman,
Emma Greer, and
Addison Shanholtz headed to the other side of town to represent the Royals on Saturday.

- THROWS
- Discus: Greer threw a season-best mark of 34.87m (114'5") to place eighth overall, followed by Gatesman at 13th (25.99m/85'3").
- Hammer: Shanholtz cracked the top 10, finishing 10th with a mark of 36.53m (119'10"). Greer finished 13th at 34.69m (113'9") followed by Gatesman in 15th place with a PR throw of 33.21m (108'11").
- Shot Put: Shanholtz registered an outdoor season best of 9.63m (31'7.25") to take 18th place.

The EMU Track & Field team will take a mid-week trip to the Shippensburg Mid-Week Bonanza in Shippensburg, Pa., this Thursday, April 16.
