Leah Beachy scored six goals, a hat trick in each, to pace EMU's offense. EMU graduated eight players, the bulk of which were four-year starters.

Outlook
Offensively, the Royals top-two goal scorers from last season, Beachy (6) and Cardoso (6) return, but
Addison Fornadel is the only other returner from a year ago who netted a goal (1).
Defensively, it'll be a new look EMU team when they hit the field in 2025. For the first time since the 2020 season, there will be a new keeper in net, as Laun graduated in the spring. New head coach Leo Alcoreza will look to senior
Katie Parks, and first-year
CJ Jefferson, to be the Royals netminder for 2025. Bomberger, Hanson and Mast were stalwarts on the EMU defense over the past four seasons, so EMU will need to replace depth in the backfield. The Royals have a scrimmage under their belt, when they took on 2024 Atlantic East Runner-Up, Marymount. It was a great showing defensively for EMU, as they fell 1-0 with the Saints only goal coming on a penalty kick late in the game. Overall, EMU will look to their incoming class to step up and help provide depth to a young, but talented squad.
