HARRISONBURG, Va. - New EMU Women's Head Soccer Coach Leo Alcoreza, has announced the Royals 2025 schedule. They'll play 18 games on the season, with an even split of nine at home and nine on the road.
They'll kick off their season with a pair of August games in North Carolina. August 29 sees the Royals at Greensboro College before heading to Methodist on August 30.
September starts with a matchup at home on the fifth against Johnson & Wales, before finishing the weekend on the seventh at home against Brevard. The Royals welcome in Richard Bland on Sept. 10 before taking the short trip to Staunton on Sept. 13 to take on Mary Baldwin. They'll have one final tuneup before ODAC play on Sept. 17 against Division II foe, Virginia State. EMU starts their ODAC slate, playing two of their first three at home. They'll take on Randolph Macon at the EMU Turf Field on Sept. 24, travel to Randolph on Sept. 27 and wrap up September at home on the 30th against Virginia Wesleyan.
EMU plays its non-conference finale on Oct. 4 at home against Regent, followed by a trip to Salem to take on Roanoke on Oct. 8. Back-to-back home games against Sweet Briar and Bridgewater await the Royals on Oct. 11 and 15, respectively, before a pair of away games at Averett and Shenandoah on the 19th and 22nd. EMU plays its home finale, taking on Hollins University, on Oct. 25, and then will wrap up the 2025 regular season on Oct. 29 in a road showdown at Guilford.
