Women’s Basketball Reveals 2025-26 Schedule

HARRISONBURG, Va. – EMU Head Women's Basketball Coach Jenny Posey recently announced the team's 2025-26 schedule. The Royals will hit the court for 25 games this season, including 16 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) contests, nine non-conference matchups, and 13 games inside the friendly confines of Yoder Arena.

EMU Women's Basketball will open up their schedule inside University Commons on Friday, Nov. 7 when they play host to Penn State Altoona. The Royals will be right back at home the next day—Saturday, Nov. 8—for a Royals vs. Royals showdown against Regent University.

From there, EMU will play their next three games on the road at Hood College (Nov. 11), Trinity Washington (Nov. 14), and Notre Dame of Maryland (Nov. 15) before returning to Yoder Arena to face off with Washington Adventist (Nov. 19). The Royals then wrap up the pre-Thanksgiving Break portion of the schedule with games at Wilson (Nov. 22) and at home versus Mary Baldwin (Nov. 25).

Returning from Turkey Day, EMU Women's Basketball begins ODAC play on the road, traveling to Randolph Macon (Dec. 2) and Guilford (Dec. 6). Coach Posey's squad will then play their final non-conference game at home against Lancaster Bible (Dec. 13) before adjourning for Winter Break.

The Royals resume play on Jan. 7, 2026, by playing host to Hollins. After that, EMU will have ODAC home games against Randolph (Jan. 14), Averett (Jan. 17), Shenandoah (Jan. 21), Randolph Macon (Jan. 28), Roanoke (Feb. 7), Virginia Wesleyan (Feb. 14), and Lynchburg (Feb. 21).
