HARRISONBURG, Va. – The EMU Men's Track & Field athletes got two more opportunities to showcase their speed and skills, sending athletes to two out-of-state last chance meets in the past few days. A small group of sprinters and jumpers traveled west to the Lee Last Chance in Cleveland, Tenn., on Saturday, May 11; meanwhile, a handful of distance runners took to the track at the Widener Final Qualifier in Chester, Pa., on Monday, May 13.
As he has done so many times this season,
Bellamy Immanuel shined on the track. The junior from Allentown, Pa., became just the second runner in EMU history to break the 15-minute barrier in the 5000-meter run, clocking in at 14:55.76.
