HARRISONBURG, Va. – The EMU Track & Field team's regular season slate of meets continued this weekend with meets in two separate burgs: the Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, Va., and the WildCat Track Festival in Lynchburg, Va. On the men's side, three athletes set personal records in their events.

Highlights: Colonial Relays (Williamsburg, Va.)
- SPRINTS
- Damon Morgan dashed his way to a 19th-place finish in the 200-meter dash, crossing the line in a time of 22.65.
- Shaddai Bailey made his outdoor debut in the 110-meter hurdles, clocking in at a time of 16.67.
- Nicholas Arnold ran the 400-meter hurdles, completing the challenging one-lap event in 1:00.37.

- SPRINTS
- Jonathan Kronimus showed out in the 400-meter dash, running a new personal best of 54.55 to finish seventh.
- THROWS
- Mathew Lawson led the group of throwers with a fifth-place showing in the javelin throw, setting a new personal record mark of 32.45m (106'-5"). Behind him, Aidan Weaver also heaved a personal best throw of 26.64m (87'-5") on his way to eighth place.
- Christian Schmidt placed sixth in the discus, setting a season best mark of 32.10m (105'-3").
What's Next
The EMU Track & Field team will be back action next weekend on Friday and Saturday, April 12-13. The Royals will split up between the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic in Lynchburg, Va., and the North River Meet in Bridgewater, Va.
