SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The EMU Men's Track & Field team took a Wednesday trip to the Keystone State, sending a group of mostly sprinters and jumpers to the Shippensburg Midweek Invite in Shipppensburg, Pa.
Bellamy Immanuel led the way as the junior from Allentown, Pa., won both the 800m and 5000m competing in his home state.

- SPRINTS
- Joseph Kerr ran his first sub-50 second 400m, completing the lap in a time of 49.89 to finish sixth overall. That performance places Kerr ninth on EMU's all-time list in the outdoor 400m. Kerr now ranks sixth in the ODAC for the 400m this season.
- Damon Morgan was the top Royal in both the 100m and 200m, running times of 11.05 and 22.87 respectively in those events.
- DISTANCE
- Immanuel achieved a season-best time of 1:57.31 in the 800m to finish 1.6 seconds ahead of the runner-up. That time puts Immanuel 10th in the ODAC for the 800m this season.
- Immanuel completed the doubleheader day by breaking the tape in the 5000m in a time of 15:21.94, nearly eight seconds faster than second place.
- JUMPS
- Brendan Apger picked up 10th place in the triple jump, landing in the sand pit at 12.42m (40'-9").
- Bryson Hunter placed 10th in the long jump with a mark of 6.44m (21'-1.5").

The EMU Track & Field team caps off their regular season slate of meets this Saturday, April 20, sending a group of mostly distance runners to the WildCat Invitational at Randolph College in Lynchburg, Va.
