WP: Thomas Burgess (1-0)
LP: Keenan Fulwood (0-2)

- The first three Maroons reached in the fifth, loading the bases, before a sac fly gave Roanoke a 1-0 lead. But once again, Fulwood stranded runners in scoring position to keep the Royals deficit at one. Roanoke added five runs in the sixth, using a solo homerun and a grandslam to take a 6-0 lead.
- EMU was able to scratch across a run in the seventh when Ethan Spraker singled, stole second and came in to score on Erik Wilkinson's RBI single to left. They added another run in the eighth when Aidan Miller led off with a double, Alex Gulisano's base hit moved him to third and he came in to score off the bat of Dylan Hall.
- Roanoke added a pair of insurance runs in the seventh and eighth, respectively, and Burgess worked around a two-out walk in the ninth to Wilkinson to finish the complete game.
