HARRISONBURG, Va. – Jenna Weaver, a senior from Harrisonburg, and Zoe Clymer, a sophomore from Collinsville, Miss., have been named to the Collegiate Triathlon Coaches Association (CTCA) All-East Region Team, per a release from the organization earlier this week.

Weaver finished second among Division III athletes at the NCAA East Region Qualifier in Raleigh, N.C., on Saturday, Oct. 12, trailing only winner Grace Huisman from Trine University. Weaver boasted the fastest 5k run segment of all DIII competitors with a time of 21:23, finishing with a cumulative triathlon time of 1:11:40.5. Clymer placed fifth in the DIII portion of the competition, crossing the line in a time of 1:18:51.8.

Weaver and Clymer will now both advance to the Women's Collegiate Triathlon National Championships on Saturday, Nov. 9, along with their teammate Ella Richer. The race will begin with the first heat of competitors at 10 a.m.
