Randolph-Macon Wins 12-1 Over EMU Baseball

Randolph-Macon College, who had lost earlier to the Eastern Mennonite University baseball team last week, got a measure of revenge as the Yellow Jackets defeated the Royals 12-1 Tuesday afternoon in Ashland, Va.
Matt Tiller pitched a complete game for RMC, going nine innings allowing only one run on eight hits while striking out three to pick up the win.
Greg Meleski and Joey Crawford each went 2-for-4 with a run scored and three RBIs for Randolph-Macon while centerfielder Scott Zymet was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs.

Zach Hawke (Salisbury, Md.) was a perfect 3-for-3 from the dish for EMU with a run scored while freshman right fielder
Zach Polloni (Hatfield, Pa.) drove in the games only run for the Royals and was 1-for-4 on the day.
EMU falls to 5-18 overall on the season and 1-7 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference while Randolph-Macon improves to 13-9-1 overall and 4-4 in the conference.
The Royals will now travel down to Bluefield, Va., to take on Bluefield College on Friday, March 30, at 5 p.m.
