Hall of Honor
Paul R. Yoder Sr. was a long-time advocate for Eastern Mennonite University. His passion for EMU and young people involved in athletics developed from the educational experiences of his children at EMU.
He was an associate in church relations for 12 years and a long-time volunteer for the Loyal Royals, serving on both the steering committee and the golf tournament committee. Paul was a faithful spectator at many EMU athletic events.
For his many years of dedicated service and support to EMU athletics, the Loyal Royals present him with the first Royal Service Award and name the golf tournament in his honor: Paul R. Yoder Sr. Golf Classic.?
