HARRISONBURG, Va. – Baseball season is right around the corner, and the EMU Baseball team has re-loaded their 2024 roster with 18 new arrivals.
"We set out to address three things with this recruiting class. We first knew that we wanted to find guys that were proven winners and competitors so that we can continue to elevate the expectations in our program. We also made it a point to find pitchers that could fill the zone up and hunt down early and soft contact. The last thing that we wanted to continue to add to was our position player athleticism and versatility. Our roster has a ton of flexibility because almost everyone plays multiple positions and it allows us to work more guys in that can impact the program. I feel strongly that we accomplished that with these young men. They have the ability to come in and provide a level of talent and depth that our program continues to need. I also believe they will integrate well with our current players so that our chemistry and culture continue to be separators for our program," EMU Head Baseball Coach
Adam Posey said.
