Nic Love is in his third season on EMU coaching staff after completing his playing career with the Royals in 2016.  He spent one season as an assistant coach, before starting at the program's graduate assistant in 2017-18.

Nic spent two seasons in an Eastern Mennonite uniform, playing in 54 games.  A first baseman, he hit a career high .274 as a senior, showing an impressive eye at the play with 11 walks against just seven strikeouts.  Nic also fashioned a .977 career fielding percentage in 351 total chances.
