HARRISONBURG, Va. - EMU Men's Volleyball Head Coach Omar Hoyos has announced the Royals 2026 schedule. The Royals will be on the court for 32 matches during the regular season, with 13 inside Yoder Arena and 19 on the road. They'll face off against the ODAC in 16 contests and will travel to three different states outside of Virginia. 

The Royals kick off the 2026 season in Ohio at the Wittenberg Kickoff Classic. They'll take on Wittenberg, Thiel, Westminster and Marian. They'll follow that up the next weekend with a trip to Pennsylvania for the Juniata Invitational, where they'll take on Hobart, New Paltz and host Juniata. 

EMU will host its annual EMU Royals Tournament on Jan. 30 and 31, where they'll welcome in Southern Virginia, Bethany College, Rutgers-Newark and Stevenson. 

February begins with a trip to Maryland to take on Neumann and Stevenson, before opening ODAC play on Feb. 17 against Lynchburg. A doubleheader against Averett awaits on Feb. 21 before EMU wraps up the month with ODAC showdowns against Shenandoah, Bridgewater and 2025 ODAC Champion Randolph Macon, as well as Messiah.

March 4 sees Randolph come to town before a March 7 home tri-match with Roanoke and Marymount. EMU will head to the beach on March 11 before starting round 2 of ODAC play on March 14 against Lynchburg. Averett, Bridgewater, Shenandoah, Randolph Macon and Randolph await the Royals to finish out March. 

Just three regular season matches remain for the Royals in April, as they'll take on Roanoke on April 1 before finishing the regular season with a home tri-match against Virginia Wesleyan and Drew on April 4.
