ASHLAND, Va. - EMU made the chilly midweek trip to Ashland on Wednesday, for a showdown against #8 Randolph Macon.
The Yellow Jackets showed why they're one of the top-10 teams in all of DIII, putting up almost 50 points in each half en route to a 95-46 win.

Highlights
First Half
RMC jumped out to a 5-0 lead to start the game, before a pair of free throws from
Isaiah Carr got the Royals on the board. A 10-2 Macon run gave them 15-4 lead, but five points from Carr and a pull up jumper from
Aaron Brooks, pulled EMU back within seven, 18-11, with just over 11 minutes left in the half. Unfortunately for the Royals, RMC would end the final 11:03 on a 31-11 advantage and seven different players scoring during that run. For EMU,
Donovan Arnason, Brooks and Carr each had three points, as Randolph Macon took a 49-22 halftime lead.
Second Half
After a Macon layup to start the half,
Jazen Walker gave the Royals their first points of the second with a pull up jumper. A few minutes later, after a layup put the Yellow Jackets up 59-24, EMU went on a run themselves, 13-7, picking up four points from Arnason and three apiece from
Edixon Blanco and
Zach Bailey. With just under 10 to play, after an Arnason three pointer, RMC ended the half on another big run, much like the first half, outscoring EMU 27-6 over the game's final 8:57.
