Bellamy Immanuel Named All-South Region in Steeplechase

HARRISONBURG, Va. - The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) recently announced their Division III Outdoor Track & Field All-Region selections for the 2025 season. Bellamy Immanuel, a senior distance runner from Allentown, Pa., was named an All-South Region athlete for the 3000-meter steeplechase.

ImmanuelĀ earned the honor by ranking second in the South Region performance list in the steeplechase, trailing only Cooper Hurst of Lynchburg. Immanuel set the EMU school record for the 3000m steeplechase, clocking in at a time of 9:21.65 on his way to a fourth-place finish at the Widener Final Qualifier in Chester, Pa., on May 12. Immanuel also made the podium for the steeplechase at the ODAC Championships, finishing second on EMU's home track on April 25.

Top-five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-three ranked relay team. The Royals had four other athletes ranked sixth through 10th in the South Region for their events. They are: Aldora Tuilaepa (sixth in women's hammer), Nick Arnold (sixth in men's 400m hurdles), Halie Mast (seventh in women's 3000m steeplechase), and Grant Leichty (ninth in men's discus).Ā
