FOREST, Va.- After a dramatic regular season finale win over Averett to cap off a 7-6-5 regular season, the EMU Men's Soccer team will be making its third consecutive trip to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament.
The Royals have secured the eighth and final seed in the eight-team, single-elimination bracket. They will load up the bus for a road game against top-seeded Lynchburg this Saturday, Nov. 1. Opening whistle from Shellenberger Field on the campus of the University of Lynchburg is scheduled for 6 p.m. Admission to the ODAC quarterfinal match is free.
Saturday will mark the Royals' second trip to Lynchburg this season, falling 6-0 to the Hornets back on Oct. 18.
The winner of Saturday's match will advance to the semifinals to take on the winner between fourth-seeded Bridgewater and fifth-seeded Virginia Wesleyan on Wednesday, Nov. 5.
