HARRISONBURG, Va. - EMU Men's Basketball Head Coach Melvin Felix has announced the Runnin Royals 2025-26 schedule. The Royals have 25 games on this year's schedule, with 11 coming inside Yoder Arena and 12 on the road. Outside of Virginia, the Royals will travel to Maryland, Pennsylvania and North Carolina during the regular season. They'll see nine non-conference opponents and 16 ODAC foes in a schedule that stretches from the beginning of November to the end of February. 

They'll kick off the season on Nov. 8 with a trip to Mary Washington, before opening up at home on Nov. 12 against Mary Baldwin. Nov. 18, 22 and 23 will see a three-game road trip against Southern Virginia, Methodist and Carlow University, respectively. They'll return home for a pre-Thanksgiving game against Stevenson. 

December begins ODAC play for the Royals, with a road matchup at Virginia Wesleyan and a home game against Hampden-Sydney. They'll have a three game stretch that wraps up non-conference play, as they take on Lancaster Bible, William Peace and St. Mary's College of Maryland. 

2026 enters in full force as EMU squares off at home against Lynchburg, and then at Randolph and Guilford. Averett, Shenandoah, Virginia Wesleyan, Randolph Macon and Hampden-Sydney wrap up the Royals January slate before the final month of the season. 

EMU's final six games of the regular season sees them at home for three straight: against Bridgewater, Roanoke and Washington and Lee. They'll head to Lynchburg, return home for their home finale against Shenandoah and finish the regular season on the road at Averett, before the start of the ODAC Tournament.
