- Katie Parks picked up her first save of the game on a BC shot less than five minutes into the game. Bridgewater continued to pepper the Royals keeper with shots, putting two in the back of the net in the 13th and 15th minutes, respectively.
- EMU's best offensive opportunities came late in the half, when Hannah Kepler sent a shot on net off a free kick. Her shot hit the crossbar and bounced away from the goal. That was followed up by a shot on goal from Leah Cap, but that was saved by the Eagles keeper. Parks would pick up four more saves in the half, but the Eagles would add four more goals, including one from a penalty kick, to take a 6-0 lead into the half.
- CJ Jefferson came on in the second half, picking up seven saves in the final 45 minutes, but BC put four more in the back of the net to wrap up the scoring for the game.
