ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Royals Field Hockey team spent their Saturday on the road, making the trek to PA for a matchup against Cedar Crest.
The Falcons used a pair of first quarter goals, and one in the final nine seconds, to pick up a 3-0 win.

Highlights
- Gracyn Arruda picked up four early saves for Royals to keep CC off the board. But with less than two minutes left in the quarter, Cedar Crest's Olivia Wanner found the back of the cage for a 1-0 lead. A minute later, with just 16 seconds left before the end of the quarter, Sydney Jeker took a pass from Wanner and put it past the keeper for a 2-0 lead.
- Neither team was able to put a shot on net in the second quarter, as CCC took a 2-0 lead into the half.
- In the third, EMU was able to keep the Falcons off the board with a trio of Arruda saves and a defensive save from Katie Tanous, but EMU's offense wasn't able to cut into the lead as Cedar Crest took the 2-0 lead into the fourth.
- Arruda added another save in the fourth, but with just nine seconds left, CCC added a third goal for the final tally.
