Highlights
- Neither team was able to get on the board in the first 15 minutes, as Gracyn Arruda grabbed four saves to keep the game scoreless after one.
- Arruda added three more saves to start the second quarter. Then, in the 22nd minute, Katie Tanous put one past the Phoenix keeper to give EMU a 1-0 lead, and pick up the first goal of her career. But that lead was short lived as Wilson picked up a pair of goals in the final seven plus minute of the quarter, to take a 2-1 lead into the break.
- While EMU's offense wasn't able to add the equalizer in the final 30 minutes of the game, Arruda continued to stand out, racking up 13 saves in the third and six saves in the fourth quarter, to push her up to 26, her third straight game of at least 20 saves.
