CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – The EMU Men's Soccer team played their third game of the week on Saturday, traveling to Pennsylvania to face off with Wilson College.
The Royals maintained their recent strong form, picking up their third victory win in a row by squelching the Phoenix 3-0. For the men's soccer team, it is their first three-game winning streak since the team rattled off three straight victories from Sept. 18-25, 2019. Three different players scored for the Royals on the afternoon, while goalkeeper
Andrew Arledge and the defense stood strong for their third straight clean sheet.

Highlights
- 11' | The Royals got their game's opening goal straight off a set piece, as Matt Arledge drilled a free kick from just outside the box. Though the Wilson keeper got a piece of it, Arledge's shot still found the back of the net to put EMU up 1-0. Arledge's strike turned out to be the only goal of the opening goal
- 57' | Matt Arledge played a part EMU's second goal as well, sending in a great ball on a corner kick that senior Kaden Schrock headed home to doubled the Royals' lead to 2-0.
- 82' | EMU put the finishing touches on their victory in the closing minutes, as Josiah King boomed a shot from the top of the box past the Wilson keeper to make the score 3-0 in favor of the Royals. It was King's second goal in the past two games.
