WESTMINISTER, Md. – Following two home games over the weekend, the EMU Men's Soccer team took their show to The Old Line State for a midweek matchup with the McDaniel Green Terror of the Centennial Conference.
The Royals returned to Harrisonburg with a victory in tow, defeating McDaniel 2-0 for their second victory in a row. With the win, EMU move backs up to .500 on the young season, and they remain unbeaten in three previous meetings against the Green Terror since 2016.

Highlights
- 11' | After an initial feeling-out period between the two sides, the Royals took to the attack with Carlos Ventura charging up the right side. Ventura then delivered a beautiful cross into the box that was sent home by Cole Jordan to give EMU an early 1-0 lead.
- 81' | The 1-0 score stayed in place until the waning minutes when the Royals doubled their lead off the left foot of Josiah King, who kicked a laser from long range past the McDaniel keeper to make it 2-0 in favor of the visiting Royals.
- Andrew Arledge barely broke a sweat in his third straight clean sheet as McDaniel failed to register a shot on goal. EMU, meanwhile, put four shots on net.
- The Royals have now had four different goal scorers in the past two games, and three of those goal scorers are first-year players for head coach Justin Carey.
