YORK, Pa.  – On their way home from New York, the EMU Men's Soccer team stopped for a Sunday matinee showdown with York College of Pennsylvania.  It was tough sledding for the Royals as the host Spartans handed EMU a 3-0 defeat.

Highlights
- It looked as though the two teams might reach halftime with no score, but the York's Dylan Marco scored his first goal season in the 43rd minute to put the Spartans ahead 1-0 at the break.
- EMU's best chance in the first half came on a header by Kane Kiernan that got stymied by York goalkeeper Jake Bono in the 19th minute.
- York pulled away in the second half with goals in the 57th minute and the 68th minute scored Noah Roche and Gavin Huey, respectively.
- Josiah King got a shot in goal for the Royals in the 57th minute, immediately after York's second goal.
