HARRISONBURG, Va. - It was rainy, snowy, cold and nasty. But for 6.1 innings, none of that mattered.
EMU took a one-run lead into the seventh, picked up an out, but Pitt-Bradford scored three to escape Harrisonburg with a 7-5 win.

Highlights
- Cyzick sat the Panthers down in order to start the game, and EMU picked up a pair of first-inning runs. Samantha Hensley reached on an error, stole second and Destiny Jones walked, putting Royals on first and second. Another error put Grace Fravel on first and loaded the bases and Hensley scored on a wild pitch. Three batters later, Carsen Brake drove in a run with a fielder's choice for a 2-0 lead.
- Neither team scored in the second, and Pitt-Bradford took the lead with four runs in the third after a bases loaded double and a sac fly.
- Jones picked up her first collegiate homerun in the third, driving the ball over left field to cut EMU's deficit to one. The Royals tied the game in the fourth when Taylor Umberger tripled and came in to score on Kendyll Eddins' sac fly. The Royals added a run in the fifth, taking a 5-4 lead, when Brake drove in her second run of the game, scoring Sydney Orndorff.
- A double and two singles helped the Panthers push three runs across in the seventh. EMU had a chance, putting the tying run on second, but Pitt-Bradford went to the bullpen and Watne got a pop out and strikeout to end the game.
