HARRISONBURG, Va. - The EMU Women's Soccer team welcomed in Shenandoah University on Tuesday, for an ODAC matchup.
The Hornets used a pair of goals in the first half and one in the second, to pick up a 3-0 win over the Royals.

Highlights
- Shenandoah got on the board just over a minute into the game, as a Hornets cross hit a Royals defender and ricocheted into the goal, for an EMU own goal and a 1-0 SU lead.
- After three Aja Laun saves, the Hornets added to their lead after McKenna Newsome's shot was saved by Laun, but the deflection went right to Audrey Atwell, who fired a shot in for the goal. Laun made five more saves in the frame, as Shenandoah took a 2-0 lead into the break.
- In the 60th minute, a beautiful diving save from Laun gave her her 350th career save, moving her to fourth all-time in the EMU record books.
- SU was able to tack on an insurance goal in the 66th minute, to push their lead to 3-0.
