HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. – The EMU Men's Soccer Royals hit the road for an important ODAC matchup with Hampden-Sydney on Wednesday.
The Royals and the Tigers both proved to be unstoppable defensively, resulting in a scoreless draw and a point for each team in the ODAC table. The game marked EMU's fifth 0-0 tie of the season as well their ninth clean sheet in 15 matches in the 2024 campaign.

Highlights
- The Royals' first good chance at a goal came in the 28th minute when Ford DeVault sent a shot toward the bottom right part of the net, but Hampden-Sydney goalkeeper Wills Huddleston made the stop.
- EMU's other shot on goal for the evening came in the second half, also from DeVault, who put the ball on target in the 61st minute.
- Junior goalkeeper Andrew Arledge continued his recent strong form in net for the Royals, making six saves, including some key stops down the stretch.
