HARRISONBURG, Va. – After a three-game road trip, the EMU Men's Soccer team returned home to Harrisonburg to entertain Averett University in a Saturday primetime ODAC showdown. Both the Royals and the Cougars had to deal with a third opponent: Mother Nature. Heavy rain and winds from the fringes of Tropical Storm Ophelia made for difficult conditions throughout the night. As a result, neither team could find the back of the net, and the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
Records: EMU 4-2-2, 1-0-1 | Averett 4-1-3, 1-0-1
