Royals Score Early to Defeat Wilson College 1-0

HARRISONBURG, Va. – EMU Men's Soccer played the back half of a weekend doubleheader against Wilson College on Sunday, Sept. 10. Kaden Schrock's goal in the 15th minute proved to be all the scoring the Royals needed to upend the Phoenix 1-0.

Highlights
  • 15' – Schrock took possession, moved towards the center, and then booted the ball with his right foot past Wilson goalkeeper Logan Neves to put the Royals up 1-0.
  • Schrock's goal was the third of his EMU career, having scored a goal each in 2021 and 2022.
  • EMU peppered the Phoenix net all afternoon long, outshooting Wilson 19-4 and putting 11 shots on goal.
  • Royals goalkeeper Andrew Arledge secured his second straight shutout in as many days. Through three starts, Arledge is ranked third in the ODAC in goals-against-average (.339) and tied for the ODAC lead in save percentage (90.9%).
