BRIDGEWATER, Va. - On Saturday, it was a big second half from William Peace that helped them pick up the win over EMU. On Sunday, the Royals made sure that didn't happen again.
EMU outscored Penn College by 15 in the first half and followed that up by outscoring them by 14 in the second, en route to a 95-66 win.

First Half
Daijordan Brown nailed a three to start the scoring for EMU before
Nick Ondrus hit another tres, giving the Royals a 9-6 lead early. After the Wildcats cut the Royals lead to one, EMU picked up nine straight from
Michael Watlington and
Aaron Brooks, to push their lead to double digits. Under 10, back-to-back-to-back buckets from
Julien Hagerman gave the Royals a 30-15 advantage. Later on, an and-one from Brown gave EMU a 16-point lead and they would eventually push that lead to 19 after a Brown three. The Wildcats finished the half with four straight to cut their deficit to 49-34 at the half.
Second Half
Threes from Watlington and
Aviwe Mahlong, along with a Watlington layup, started EMU on an 8-2 run to kick off the second half. Five straight from Brown opened EMU's lead to 24 less than three minutes into the half and they were able to extend it to 27 on an Ondrus fastbreak layup. EMU was able to move their lead to 32 after back-to-back theres from Mahlong and Ondrus before a 13-1 run cut their lead to 20, 80-60. But EMU continued to hold a big advantage, keeping their lead to more than 20 over the game's final eight minutes, with Donovan Armason picking up a layup to wrap up the Royals scoring.
