Eagles Best Royals in Road Matchup

BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Royals women's soccer team played another installment of the Route 42 Rivalry on Tuesday, taking on the Eagles in Bridgewater.

BC used three first half goals en route to a 5-0 win over EMU.

Highlights
  • Aja Laun picked up a save on a BC shot early in the first half but the Eagles were able to get on the board with a goal by Hannah England at the 2:43 mark, taking a 1-0 lead.
  • The Royals defense continued to play hard and Laun added five more saves in the half, but Bridgewater was able to add two more goals to take a 3-0 lead at the break.
  • The Royals came up with multiple defensive saves in the second half, along with seven more saves from Laun, to limit the damage. But the Eagles picked up a pair more of goals to extend their lead to five, the final score of the game.
