Highlights
- 4' - Gracyn Arruda picked up a save early, but after an EMU foul led to a penalty corner, the Yellow Jackets were able to convert that corner into a goal, taking a 1-0 lead.
- 7' - The Royals were able to even things just three minutes later. After Hayley Collins' shot was saved, she was awarded a penalty stroke after a foul. She buried the shot past the keeper, tying things at one apiece. Arruda picked up three more saves, along with a Rileyanne Collins defensive save, to keep the game tied at one after one.
- Arruda added six more saves in the second quarter and it looked like the game was headed to the half tied at one. But RMC had different plans as their goal with seven seconds gave them a 2-1 lead at the break.
- Two more goals in the third quarter extended the Yellow Jackets lead in the third, but in the fourth, Arruda and the Royals defense kept RMC off the board.
