Marymount 3, EMU 0
The Royals fell in a quick 7-2 hole in the opener and never recovered in a 25-19 loss. They had an early lead in the second set, and stayed close until a 3-0 run gave Marymount some breathing room at 17-13. EMU would get no closer than two down the stretch in a 25-20 loss.

The men again started strong in the third, skipping to a 5-2 lead. The Saints quickly tied it at 5-5, and then used a 6-0 run to knock EMU out in a 25-13 final.

Marymount out-hit the Royals .365 to .094. Scott Brigham (Montpelier, Va./Patrick Henry) had 10 kills and eight digs. Tim Callahan (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) added eight kills. Dan Lutz (Greencastle, Pa./Greencastle-Antrim) had four blocks to lead defensively at the net.

EMU had no service aces for the just the third time this season.

TJ Wiechecki had 11 kills to lead the Saints. Tomasz Ksiazkiewicz had seven kills, six blocks and three aces.

Limestone 3, EMU 0
The men hit better in the second match, but couldn't keep up with the D-II Limestone Saints.

EMU dug out of an early deficit and had a few one-point leads midway through the first. But Limestone scored the final three to seal a 25-19 decision.

The Royals had a handful of 3-0 runs in the second set, twice using a spurt to draw ties at 14-14 and 22-22. But LC again put down the final three to win 25-22.

The Saints gave the men the first point of the third with a service error, but then they scored the next four to take over. EMU steadily lost control in a 25-18 end to the day.
