Donte Thomas scored a team-high 20 points on 6-of-9 shooting from behind the arc to lead the Ferrum Panthers to a 90-79 non-conference win over the Eastern Mennonite University Royals Monday evening.

The win makes the Panthers 3-5 overall on the season while the Royals fall to 2-5.

Lamont King and Marcus Mayo each scored in double figures for the Panthers with King pouring in 19 points while Mayo added another 15 and 10 assists.

Shon Goode had eight points, eight boards and five blocked shots.

David Falk (Madison, Va./Madison) led the Runnin' Royals with 16 points. Andrew Thorne (Front Royal, Va./Skyline) had 13 points and 11 boards for the double-double.

Dajon Daniel (Fredericksburg, Va./Mountain View) and Ryan Yates (Alexandria, Va./TC Williams) had 15 and 10 points, respectively.

EMU will now face off against Bluefield College (WVa.) in the Don Glick Classic at Bridgewater College on Friday, Dec. 9, at 6 p.m.
