Emory & Henry College made 16 three-pointers in picking up a 113-101 victory over Eastern Mennonite University in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference men's basketball game on Saturday in Emory, Va.

E&H (7-14, 4-10 ODAC) has averaged105 points in its last four games since installing a fast-pace offense and trapping defense. The Wasps went 16-for-36 (44.4%) from the three-point arch while EMU (11-9, 7-7 ODAC) had no three-pointers on three attempts.

EMU had three players score at least 20 points. Sophomore center Jason Lentz had his fifth double-double of the season with 28 points and 16 rebounds, both career-highs. He also had two blocks and two steals. Sophomore forward Jason Sager had 23 points, eight boards, and three assists. Freshman forward Brad Parkes had 22 points, six boards, and two assists. Freshman guard Korey Whiting added 13 points, five rebounds, and three assists.

The Royals held a 51-36 edge in rebounding and shot a respectable 48% from the floor, but were hurt by the large disparity in three-pointers. EMU hit 29-of-39 free throw attempts for 74.4% accuracy at the charity stripe.

Sophomore guard Lance Reasbeck had a game-high 30 points along with five assists and three steals. He went 7-for-15 at the three-point arch. Fellow sophomore guard Korey Townsend had 26 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and three steals. Another sophomore guard, Hank Luton, came off the bench to score 17 points along with three assists, and three steals. Sophomore forward Cortez Watson had 12 points.

The Wasps shot 48.6% from the floor and made 27-of-37 free throw attempts. They recorded 27 assists and 18 steals, both the highest mark by any team against the Royals this season. E&H also set an opponent high with 113 points in regulation against EMU. Guilford defeated EMU 113-107 in overtime earlier in the season.

EMU will continue its road trip on Sunday with a 2 p.m. ODAC game at Guilford College.
