Emory & Henry Rolls by EMU 106-71
EMORY, Va. – The EMU men's basketball team fell to Emory & Henry College 106-71 Saturday afternoon. The loss drops the Royals to 4-17 overall and 2-12 in the ODAC.
Jason Sager (Edinburg, Va./Central) would be the lone bright spot for the Royals. Sager would net a team high 19 points along with two steals. Mike Culen (Winchester, Va./James Wood) would chip in 14 points while going four for four from behind the arc.
Justin Call would put up a game high 41 points while adding four rebounds for the Wasps. Korey Townsend, Gary Kerns, and Ben Fisher would all add another 11 points for Emory & Henry.
EMU would shoot only 31% from the floor in the first half and 38% overall.
The Royals will be back in action on Sunday, February 8 at Guilford College. Game time is scheduled for 3 pm.
