LYNCHBURG, Va. - Mike Culen (Winchester, Va./James Wood) hit a lay up with eight seconds left to seal the 78-77 win over Lynchburg College Monday night. The win gives EMU (3-8, 1-4)coach Kirby Dean his first ODAC victory.

Jason Sager (Edinburg, Va./Central) came up big for the Royals posting a game high 25 points. Culen added 13 points and seven rebounds while Jason Lentz (Diana, W.V./Webster Co.) added 11 points and eight boards.

The Royals will be back in action on Wednesday, January 14 at Washington & Lee. Game time is scheduled for 7 pm.
