Salem, Va. – The Eastern Mennonite University field hockey team is ranked #11 in the most recent National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Poll.

Under head coach Brenda Bechler, the Royals are currently a perfect 7-0 on the season. The Royals are led by 2002 ODAC Player of the Year Kristin Moyer (Souderton, Pa./Christopher Dock) who has tallied 14 goals and two assists for 30 points. Jonalyn Denlinger (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Mennonite), last season's Rookie of the Year, is second on the team with four goals and nine assists for 17 points. Molly Harrington (Frederick, Md./Frederick) ranks third on the squad in scoring with five goals and one assist for 11 points. Katie Moyer (Blooming Glen, Pa./Christopher Dock) and Emily Chamelin (Westminster, Md./Westminster) have split time in goal with Moyer averaging 0.72 goals against per game and Chamelin giving up 0.69 goals per contest.
