HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Royals wrapped up their 2026 ODAC, and home, slate on Saturday, welcoming in Bridgewater College to the Turf Field.
After a scoreless first half from both teams, the Eagles broke through with two goals in the third and one in the fourth quarters, picking up a 3-0 win.

Highlights
- Bridgewater came out firing, picking up nine shots in the opening frame. But EMU's defense didn't give them a clean look, as just one of them was on goal, which was saved by Teresa Green.
- The Eagles continued the barrage of shots in the second, tallying another nine, this time with four of them on cage. But once again, Green came up clutch for EMU and kept the game scoreless heading to halftime.
- The shots finally started finding paydirt in the third quarter, as BC put up back-to-back goals in a span of 1:15, taking a 2-0 lead. Green added one more save in the frame, and Layla Cordova added EMU's first shot on goal at 42:21 mark, but it was saved by the Eagles keeper.
- One more save from Green and one more goal from Bridgewater wrapped up the action in the fourth, as BC picked up the win.

What's Next
EMU celebrated their two FH seniors on Saturday:
Kristen Andersen and
Kaylin Ozuna, as it was EMU's final home game of the season. They'll be back in action one more time this season as they head down to Meredith next Saturday for a non-conference game against the Avenging Angels. Gametime is set for 4:30 pm.
