HARRISONBURG, Va. - First Year Royals Head Field Hockey Coach Sydney Metz, has announced the Royals 2025 schedule. They'll play 18 games on the season, with an even split of nine at home and nine on the road with eight ODAC matchups.

EMU kicks off the season on August 31 at home when they take on Cedar Crest. 

September starts with three straight road games, as they head to Goucher on Sept. 3, Earlham on Sept. 6 and Oberlin on Sept. 7. They return home a week later for a Sept. 14 game against Washington and Jefferson, before hitting the road on Sept. 16 against Juniata. After they return from Juniata, they'll play three straight in Harrisonburg: Sept. 20 against Meredith, Sept. 24 against Wilson and Sept. 27 against Centre. 

The Royals will hit the road for their first ODAC game, heading to Ashland to take on Randolph Macon on Oct. 4. They'll be back in the Burg on Oct. 7 against Virginia Wesleyan and Oct. 11 against Roanoke. It'll be a short trip down 42 for the Poultry Road Rivalry on Oct. 15 when EMU takes on Bridgewater, followed up by their non-conference finale on Oct. 18 at Meredith. October wraps up with three more games: home to Shenandoah on Oct. 22, home to Sweet Briar on Oct. 25 and at Washington and Lee on Oct. 29. 

November sees EMU with one final regular season game, as they hit the road on the first to take on Lynchburg.
